As St. Valentine’s Day approaches, we would like to present selected insights from our recent research with n4000 panelists in total conducted across Poland, Romania, Italy, and France .

Data shows that Valentine’s Day is driven by emotion more than obligation.
In all four markets we surveyed, over 64% of the panelists stated that their primary motivation for buying a gift is to show love and appreciation.
